Nagatanien Roast Donabe is a multi-functional clay pot perfect for roasting, grilling, sautéing, simmering and especially "waterless" cooking. Its porous Iga clay retains heat evenly, allowing the food to cook with a high degree of heat penetration and maintain flavour and moisture.
Features:
- The pot's unique sealing mechanism allows for waterless cooking, keeping the flavours intense and food moist.
- The pot's bottom surface has a special process to avoid high temperatures in the centre, allowing for long cooking periods and dry roasting.
- The radiating cuts in the pot's bottom increase heat emission and ventilation.
